Learning without an account

The learning activities do not ask for student accounts or send your notebook answers to a site-run gradebook. The passport stores mission responses, stamps, bookmarks, and the last learning page in this browser. The Learning Studio has separate optional device saving and downloads. Other activities may reset when refreshed.

A shared browser can reveal saved work to its next user. Use the passport’s clear control or the Learning Studio’s clear control when appropriate. Private browsing, clearing browser data, or changing devices can remove or separate saved work.

External services

Hosting providers process normal connection information to deliver pages. Embedded videos and external websites may use their own cookies and collect usage information under their policies. Opening a source or email service leaves this site. We do not claim that third-party services collect no data.

Listen and language

Listen uses your browser’s speech service. Voice availability and whether speech processing is local depend on your device and browser. Text entered in student writing fields is excluded from the page-reading feature. Site translations are provided as support; source documents retain their original languages.

Outside maps and media

Field-trip pages load Google Maps. Other tours, interactives, and videos load when their button is selected. Providers receive normal web connection information and may use cookies. Google Earth opens separately. Notebook writing is not sent to map or media providers.
